Our home was built in 1907. There have been some updates completed throughout it’s 110 years of life… but no one ever put an electrical outlet on the front porch.
From a decorative standpoint, that makes some ideas a but tricky to execute.
This year I decided to just throw lots of fresh pine out there and intertwine some battery operated lights to give it a small glow. (Note: I took these photos during the day and due to the lights being on a timer… I totally forgot to turn them on for photos… my bad) The barrel & large lantern we purchased and used at our wedding & the sled came from my grandparents.
The sign is made by non other than Sarie Signs and adds just the right amount of color to the porch. Lastly, the mat is so cool. It is actually interchangeable and gifted to us as an early Christmas gift from Gabe’s Gram. (We love it!)
