I’ve known these two for a little over 3 years now and after teetering around some ideas, Susan & I decided we wanted a sweet and simple shoot. This is my third shoot in a week & each has been so much fun. I feel as if God wanted me to work with young families in one way or another… and currently this is my journey.
Honestly, I was nervous Molly wouldn’t remember me and appear shy around me. But she jumped out of the car and handed me a (wilted) beautiful flower, that I immediately placed in my crazy mom bun. She was perfect. She giggled, snuggled, twirled, laughed, tickled, & just loved on her Mama. She listened to everything I told her to do & did it with grace… well, except giving her mama a kiss… haha that was the only time she turned her silliness on, which created even better pictures. <3
Susan originally was going to get a few pictures of Molly for her upcoming birthday… then it turned into a “this.is.Motherhood” session… but we decided to capture Susan & Molly’s life right now, right in this moment. That includes Susan’s boyfriend James. He made sure I didn’t fall off my chair (thanks for that) & he was a trooper carrying materials for me… but he also jumped in a few photos & sat however I asked him to… with a smile (sometimes a sarcastic one) but never less, still a smile.
Susan, thank you so much for investing in me to take photos of you & your sweet family. I enjoyed spending the evening with you guys, laughing & capturing these sweet moments of your life. I hope you love them as much as I do.
